She's here! I went up to visit the Wardles today, because Sarah had her baby on Monday. I'm not trying to steal her thunder, but she gave me permission to post the first official pictures of her. As ridiculous as it is, this is the first time Sarah and I have hung out since I moved back to Utah in May, so it was definitely overdue. It's a long drive from South Jordan to Kaysville! It was a wonderful visit with the whole family. The boys are getting so big and handsome! Noah and Wyatt were busy playing most of the time, but Mason was so sweet to share his legos with me and sit by me on the couch.:) It made me really excited for my little boy. (I can't believe I'm the only one left on the due date list!) I snapped a couple of pictures of the baby, and Mason wanted me to take one of him too, so I'm posting that as well. She is a beautiful little girl and it was so fun holding her for a few minutes. She seems so tiny! I see a lot of Noah in her, and she definitely looks like one of the family. In the pictures she is wearing the tutu Kristen made for her. Yes, we know it wasn't intended to go on over a sleeper, but we just wanted to see if it fit. Sarah promises to do a photo shoot soon.:) So we'll be anxiously awaiting more pictures, and excited to hear what they decide on for a name...

A little update
Aubrey and Daddy....awww, aren't they cute?
My lil' bookworm! She loves books. Her favorite is her sesame street goes to the farm book that I have from when I was little : )
My little busy bee...always trying to figure things out and getting into mischief
She totally posed like this all by herself! I just set her up there and she smiled away. She just started cheesing it this week for the camera....usually she tries to escape!
Another pose...
Mommy and Aubrey
Aubrey playing some tunes...
Fish face
Pigtails! She was crying right before this so she looks a bit pouty but I just love those teeny piggy tails! : )
We took Aubrey to her doctor appt. last week that was meant for her 12 month, but she was actually 14 months : ) I'm blaming it on the move ( ...that we made in July! ) Anyway, she still doesn't weigh 20 lbs yet, not even 19 1/2, she's just over 19 pounds! She's in the 10th percentile for her weight, but in the 30th for her height. We decided we'd go ahead and switch her carseat around anyway. She loves facing the front now and I like being able to see her a bit better, but it has been an adjustment getting used to putting her in that way. It's funny how you get used to doing something a certain way.
We've also been busy with Holiday preparations here. We mailed/dropped off our Christmas packages to the family last week and I spent the past couple of days wrapping up a few little things for Aubrey and Steve. I'm excited for Steve to be off work soon. He starts his vacation on Wednesday, but unfortunately he will have to go in a few days over the plant shutdown week to help finish up some projects.
We're planning on having our traditional Christmas Eve dinner at my parent's house this week. We'll be spending Christmas morning with just us and then going over to my extended families house for a little Christmas party with my Aunts/Uncles/Cousins on my Dad's side. It should be fun. I haven't been to one of those in a while, and haven't seen many of them since we had Aubrey. I know my Dad is anxious to show her off : )
Well, at least that's a little update for now. My time is short so I'm going to try and post a few pics too before it all runs out!

very mini reunion
The Airds were in town this week for Thanksgiving, and luckily we were finally able to nail down a time to see each other. We met for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and had fun catching up and comparing baby bumps (although there's really no contest at this point!). Since it was Wyatt's birthday today we didn't get to meet up with Sarah (although I really hope to see her soon), but I couldn't help but remember eating there with Brooke and Sarah last December, and what a great time we had then. I'm glad that Cheesecake is a bit of a tradition for our gatherings.:) So I just wanted to wish Wyatt a Happy Birthday and post a few pictures. Be sure and take note of Katie's cute new hairstyle, and Easton's "big smile"!

That's what friends are for
Whad up!!? So some of you read my blog, where I may have spoiled this lil surprise...but I wanted to make sure you knew that each of you were my personal inspiration for my card club choice last month. Now I know Sammy Rockwood is totally judging me as cheesy as he reads this... but it's true! This group of friends is the best I could have ever asked for and there is not a day that I am not so grateful for the friendships we have. I love you guys!! I really do wish we could all live closer together.
Speaking of... Brooke, when are you guys gonna transfer to Texas to manage that Sportman's Warehouse? I know that was just an idea we threw around, but you can't tease me like that ;)
Anyway, how are all my Baby Mamas doing?

Still Sassy
Lizzy reminded me she hasn't seen these in awhile...thought I should go ahead and post a few for the enjoyment of all ;)
Dear Red,
I want a girlfriend, but I don't have any money. How can I win over a lady without forking over any cash?
Coin Counter
Dear Gavin,
You keep asking but I'm going to tell you the same thing, as usual...get super creative or suck it up and dish out some cash! Trust me; it is a solid investment for your future.
ROI = Eternity,
Red
Dear Red,
Two-thirds of our recently released stake presidency had really great foreign accents but none of the new presidency does. Do you think this means our stake is becoming less diverse?
Accent Awareness
Dear Accent,
Well, I'm pretty sure accents are not a true sign of diversity but if you really feel strongly about mixing things up in the vocal atmosphere, perhaps you should pick up your own accent and start spreading that about. After all, the ladies do love an accent...any accent.
Cheerio!
Red
Dear Red,
I love the ladies and the ladies love me, but at times, there are just too many! How can I thin the crowd without making them all mad?
Too hot to handle
Dear Andrew,
Oh dear, that is like asking how to swim without making a wave - only Gavin can do it, so... yeah, good luck with that. I'm sorry, but this is the price paid for being so awesome.
Sit back and enjoy the ride,
Red
