visit from the Petersons

My parents have been visiting for the last 2 weeks. Since the Heber Valley Camps were closed, they let the missionaries come home for a bit. It was fun to have them in town and for most of our family to be together. They asked about all of you and how you're doing. They absolutely LOVE their mission and just have about 12 months left. Here some pics of them and my nieces from our ward's Trunk-or-Treat.

On Halloween, Doug entered into a carving contest at work. He didn't win like last year, but here are his cute Wallace and Gromit creations:

Oh...tell mamma and pappa Peterson Hi from me. It's great to see them. They look so happy. And that little duck costume was adorable. The carving contest was pretty cool too, what a creative idea!!!

Also, I forgot to mention, my parents are one of only four missionary couples -- so they actually have a few guest cabins that we can stay at for free if we do a reunion in Utah before late April. They live in the mountains and can not stop raving about how beautiful it is!

I would be all about staying at the cabins if we worked out our reunion in Utah!
