Heber Valley Camps

This past weekend, Doug & I got to visit my parents as they serve their mission at the Heber Valley Camps in Utah. We had such a great time and were amazed at the beauty around the camps. My parents also invited Doug's family to come spend a night as well, which was really neat since it had been over a year since we had seen them. It was so much fun sledding and playing in the snow. I was also glad to leave it though--We came back early Wednesday morning to awesome 70 degree weather in Austin :)

Seattle

We just got back from vacation too! The last 4 days were spent in Seattle, Washington. Brett interviewed with Pro Sports Club, and I think he impressed them as much as the facility impressed me! It was my first visit to the Pacific Northwest, and I wasn't disappointed. I loved how there were trees everywhere, and it was so nice to be near the water (both Lake Washington and Puget Sound). We went to the aquarium, ate fresh seafood, explored downtown, and even discovered the temple was just 4 miles down from our apartment. I think we were there during the perfect time too, because it only rained lightly on one of the days. So all in all it was a fun trip, and here are a few pictures to prove it!

VACATION

Hey everyone! Ryan and I just got back from a week long vacation to Philadelphia. We went out to visit my sister and to celebrate my nephews first birthday! Happy Birthday Dixon!

Ryan and I took a mini trip to Washington DC and Virginia and had a change to meet up with BJ and his wife. It was great to see them and have them take us to a fun restaurant.

After we left DC we got caught driving home in an ice storm (CRAZY). It took us about 7 hours to go 2 1/2 hour. I have never seen so many wrecks!

We went to Valley Forge and amish coutry in Intercourse, PA...pictures of us in Intercourse to come...oh, wait. HA HA! (That never gets old.) We really did get a picture of Ry and I at the Intercourse city sign, I will have to upload later. We also did the whole philadephia tourist thing.

This is the Famous Rocky statue

It was great to get away for a while. When we flew into Vegas we went to see Phantom of the Opera with some of my cousins, it was amazing. If you ever are in Vegas, that is a must see!Hope all is well with everyone! Miss you!

Little update: Ryan got a job offer to be the store manager for a Sportsman's Warehouse in California....That is...Victorville, CA. He declined to take it hoping that we can get one of the two Vegas stores being put in this summer. Plus, if we are going to move to California, It better be by a freakin ocean. :-) We will see! I will let you know what happens!
