Hey girls! Thanks for inviting me to the blog. It's a lot easier than Kari being our relay man. Steve is in his last class right now and will be graduating on the 18th! Yeah! ( Providing he passes all of his classes....) He is still not sure about one of them. I am so excited though. But, it's not like we're leaving lovely little Rexburg just yet. We plan on staying here til December so that I can have the baby here ( last week of October) and then we'll move to wherever he ends up getting into grad school . We've got applications into University of Utah, University of Missouri, and University of Arkansas, so we'll see which one pans out.
I 've been keeping surprisingly busy and enjoying my first summer off as a paid teacher, although I am pretty sure I already worked all these hours during the school year! : ) Steve's family is coming into town on Tuesday and a friend of mine is having a baby shower for me on the 21st, so we have a busy week coming up.
But the good news is we are going to Florida to visit Steve's parents for a week on the 24th ! We are so excited, although I am already melting in Rexburg's heat so I don't know what I'll do in Florida! Who cares though, they have a pool and I just bought a maternity swimsuit so we are good to go! There are actually no pools around here and the school's is closed for remodeling so I'm starving for any kind of water...basically I'll sit in a puddle if I see one. Anyway, after Florida we head straight out to Kansas City to see my family. Kari and Brett should be there too so that will be fun. I'm glad we get to take all these trips, but I'm pretty sure I'll be ready for sleeping in my own bed once the two weeks is over. As long as I'm near a bathroom though...that's all that matters!
I don't know if Kari shared or not yet but we decided on the name of Aubrey Michelle Redd for our new baby girl. We are so excited to meet her! I have been trying to be ambitious and sew the crib bumpers and a quilt for her and I'm almost done. We'll see how it goes. Well, this is definitely long enough for a first post so have a happy Thursday!

Kristen...so good to hear from you!! You are a super cute pregnant chick! I really like the name Aubrey Michelle and I hear there was some inspiration involved so all the better. Glad to hear you are at least surviving Rexburg!
Dido to Katie's comment. You are looking very cute as always. Anyway.. I hope you are feeling well and I am excited for you to go swimming. I have always though about doing water arobeics when I was prego but it never worked out because of my work schedule and all. Have a fun vacation.
Man, I wish the VA had paid summer vacation!! Teachers need a break more than we do but, I could really use the tan! I don't think I've ever seen my legs so white!
